He has also acted as the national eldercare consultant for a major EAP company.
Peter been described by his clients as extraordinarily caring, patient, and intuitive. As one client said to him, “More than anything else, what you have given me is peace of mind.”
The development of Diamond Geriatrics was the result of Peter’s direct experience with clients encountering gaps in services and the need for information, guidance, and advocacy. His work within the public and private health care system have demonstrated to him the incredible lack of higher level and more intense service options. He was one of the first in Canada to begin approaching business and the financial sector to discuss the need for multi-disciplinary and holistic approaches to working with older people and their families and caregivers.
Peter has assembled a similar minded group of health care professionals to create the only comprehensive eldercare assessment, care planning, and monitoring company in B.C. . Combining these services with outreach to business, financial, and other medical professions gives Diamond Geriatrics a total package of services.
