A registered non profit society placing mature cats in the homes of clients 55 years of age or older. No cost. Client Cats are monitored for good health and social skills before placement. Litter box, carrier, scratch post provided. Food , litter, and vet expenses covered upon need.

Barb Purdy, owner of Free To Be is an incredibly gifted physiotherapist and occupational therapist who also works with Diamond Geriatrics. She can provide assessments, rehab programmes, and more.

St. Jude’s Anglican Home
St. Jude’s is a small, non-profit, licensed multi level care facility in Vancouver. They have two private pay beds.
Villa Carital is a very nice, small, non profit licensed multilevel care facility in Vancouver. They have two private beds.
Courtyard Gardens is an assisted living and what they call enhanced assisted living (licensed care) facility in Richmond. It is privately owned and managed by Diversicare.
Westminster House is a private assisted living and care facility in White Rock, BC. What impressed me about them is the way they manage to put into practice their “age in place” philosophy.
Driving Miss Daisy
Provides personalized transportation services and related services to their clients, far beyond what a taxi would do. For instance, they will accompany someone into a physician’s office, help put groceries away, and make sure someone gets their boarding pass and to their flight at an airport.

Mobile Eyes is a visiting optometry service for people in facilities or in their own home.
